New tarmac track to launch installed in summer 2012 making the site very accessible. HG launch (ramp) is different from PG launch and at a different location. Not the easiest field to find visually, so take a GPS coordinate before you fly. That said, there are an abundance of places to land. Do not fly into the Class D airspace in the flats though. Car, train. Venice airport not far away.
