get around the gate and walk up.

the top is not suitable for take off.... proceed far enough down the appropriate side for take off. note, the south take off is on a spine that goes out west from the top of the mountain. and it looks onto the same bowl as the SW take off. anywhere safe on the bottom will do. top landing can be achieved but not a good idea due to the HUGE transmitter aerial and its many support wires. Best advice is to land down. There is a locked gate at the bottom that leads up to the RTE transmitter here.
